The Laté 21 seaplane, piloted by Achille Enderlin inaugurated the Marseille-Alger line on September 11, 1926. The prototype, built by SIDAL, Société des Avions Latécoère, was first equipped with Farman engines but the choice was definitively made for 2 Gnôme & Rhône Jupiter 420 HP engines.
This 100% silk square, 90x90, hand-rolled, will make you relive the maritime crossings of the Laté 21 with its majestic blue patterns on a bright orange background. The original plans of the Farman engines, the serial number and the technical data sheet of the seaplane are highlighted by geometric figures typical of the decorative arts of the 1930s.
