It was the same in 2011, during Operation Harmattan, when Mirage 2000Ns from Souda in Crete took part in ground attack missions.
In August 2015, during Operation Chammal, personnel from EC 2/4 La Fayette, the last Mirage 2000N squadron, were sent to Jordan to fight the Daesh terrorist group in Iraq and Syria. These aircraft and crews left the theater of operations on 25 August 2016 after nearly 500 sorties.
The aircraft will then contribute to operations in the Sahel-Saharan strip alongside the Rafale and Mirage 2000D, this deployment being the final external operation of the EC 2/4 La Fayette.
In June 2018, the Mirage 2000N was definitively withdrawn from service, after 30 years of service in the French deterrent.
True flagship of Dassault Aviation and mythical aircraft of the French history of wings, Barnstormer offers here 2 versions of the polo Mirage 2000 N to commemorate its 30 years of career in the service of France.
